Highlighting the keystone species.

A keystone species is an organism that has a disproportionately large impact on its ecosystem relative to its abundance. The term "keystone" comes from the wedge-shaped block at the top of a stone arch that holds the entire arch in place. Removing a keystone species can cause a chain of events that lead to the collapse of an ecosystem.

In 2020, the Taipei Zoo hosted the species management committee of SEAZA. I was invited by the curator to contribute to the design of the event graphics. Taking inspiration from keystone species such as the white-handed gibbon, orangutan, Malay tapir, and moon bear, I crafted visually compelling event graphics that captured the essence of these remarkable animals.
